Built for long term growth and migration, the Electra Elite 48/192/IPK Telephone System is designed for small businesses who are on the move, those who don't intend to stay small for very long. It comes loaded with productivity-driven features that emulate the capabilities of much larger systems. The 48 is expressly conceived and developed to further and foster growth.
Key Service Unit (Elite 48). The key service unit (KSU) for the electra elite 48 comes equipped with a built in CPU (MBD-U10) and support for eight digital telephones. This KSU provides for seven slots. Slot one is dedicated to the eight built in digital ports, Slot 2 is reserved for MIF connection, Slots 3-6 are interface slots with MDF connections, and Slot 7 is an interface with no MDF connection. Slot 7 may be used to support a VMS, PBR or VRS card. Each KSU is equipped with system back up batteries, 4 PBR circuits, 16 conference circuits, 1 paging input, and one power failure transfer circuit.
Key Service Unit (Elite 192). The key service unit (KSU) for the electra elite 192 system provides 64 ports and can be expanded to a maximum of 192 ports with the addition of two expansion KSUs. The P64-U10 PSU (power supply unit), backup batteries, and three PFT relays are included with each KSU.
Central Processing Unit The Central Processing Unit ETU contains a 32-bit microprocessor that controls the system. Included are 16, 4-party conference circuits, 16 analog and 16 digital voice mail circuits, 4-channel PBR circuits, a Tone Generator, MOH input and two built-in melodies. One required per basic 192 KSU.
T1/SDN BRI/PRI Clock Unit. The clock unit provides synchronization for T1 lines and ISDN basic and prime rate connections. The unit is piggybacked on the CPUB-U10 ETU or MBD-U10 and supports the DTI-U10 ETUs, BRT(4)-U10 ETUs and PRT(1)-U10 ETUs
COMMON CHANNEL HANDLER (CCH) (K-CCIS) This ETU provides a common channel signal through the DTI to a K-CCIS network responsible for signaling between the CPU and the K-CCIS network. DTI-U30 ETU and CLKG-U10 unit are needed.
Multi-Line Conference Bridge Provides the ability to support either one eight party or two four party conferences. Each conference is amplified, balanced and password protected.
Tie Line Interface. The tie line interface ETU supports the termination and operation of up to two E & M tie lines (4-wire, type I and type V, and 10/20 pps dial pulse or DTMF). Immediate or wink start, delay start, and second dial tone signaling are accommodated.
The Basic Rate Interface Unit provides 4 channels (8 voice channels) for ISDN Basic Rate Interface. When connecting to a CO, a Network Termination Unit (NT1) is required. Firmware Version 4.00 is required on IPK II.
Electronic Station Interface Unit. The electronic station interface ETU contains eight circuits. Each circuit can support one digital multiline terminal (Electra elite, Electra professional or Dterm series E set, Message display board, Attendant add-on console, Single line telephone adapter, Dterm corless terminal, Dterm extender or Electra mail CTI port.
Single Line Interface Unit. This single line telephone ETU supports a maximum of four single line telephones and/or analog voice mail ports. This ETU provides ringing signal generator (RSG), and message waiting (MW) LED voltage to single line telephones.
Single line interface unit. This single line telephone ETU supports a maximum of eight single line telephones and/or analog voice mail ports. This ETU provides ringing signal generator (RSG), and message waiting (MW) LED voltage to single line telephones.
Push Button Receiver Unit The push button receiver ETU detects and translates DTMF tones generated by single line telephones, modems, or facsimile machines. The PBR provides four circuits. Four PBR circuits are built into the CPUB( )-U10 ETU or MBD-U10.
External Control Relay Unit The external control relay ETU provides common audible tone signaling using relay contacts for external ringing equipment, an audio output for external paging systems, and connection for external background music. Ten relays are provided: four for External Tone Ringer Control, one for Night Chime, three for External Paging, and two for General Purpose.
